Hola. Welcome to my page. My name is Irene Rivera. I'm a New York based Actress, born and raised between the Lower East Side and the Bronx. I love to dance, jam out to live music, and be out in the sunshine.
I began my actor training with the drama department at LaGuardia High School and went on to study the Meisner technique at the Maggie Flanigan Studio. At MFS I completed the Two-Year Conservatory training program with both Maggie Flanigan and Charlie Sandlan. I also studied improv at UCB.
Most recently, I made my TV debut on Law and Order: SVU, appeared in the indie feature How To Say Goodbye directed by Frank Song, and booked the lead in the indie short film The Things We Learn, written and directed by David Bell.
Over the past year, my partner Jose Santana and I created an original comedy webseries called Two Big Guppies. Check us out on YouTube!
These days you'll catch me practicing Yoga, playing outdoors with my Husky, or on the couch with a new series, nature doc or indie film.
